It is an understanding that breath is the first place we become disconnected from the body. What emerged from my discovery spending time with Lena, besides her beautiful and incredibly detailed realistic portraiture (one of which hangs as the Goddess Protector of my own home now) is this simple truism: I CHOOSE WHEN TO BREATHE OR NOT BREATHE. This is a story for another time, but know this, as women we are vulnerable in the world. GHAC & Jaguar opened a space for this conversation.
